Fishing

Uganda is a fisherman's paradise. Casual fishermen and the ones who love a challenge will all be glad to try their luck here.  Uganda is home to the famous Nile perch.  Catch one of these and you will have bragging rights for quite some time.  You can also reel in tilapia, tiger fish, catfish, and rainbow trout.  Plus, for the true fisherman, you will enjoy the challenges involved in battling the currents and terrain.   

Fishing can be done on Lake Victoia, and at Murchion Falls, Mt. Elgon, and Lake Mburo National Parks.  You will need your own equipment, permits, and guides or boats for some outings.
